Fazendas Dutra

In the 1950s, José Dutra Sobrino acquired a small farm that he steadily grew for more than 40 years and that was producing pulped natural coffees as early as in the 1980s. This very rare processing method produces coffees with a high natural sweetness and a highly balanced flavour profile with fine fruity notes.

In 1999, brothers Ednilson Alves Dutra and Walter Cesar Dutra inherited the plantation, which by now had grown to 300 hectares, and assumed responsibility for the family heritage. Today, the plantation covers almost 1,000 hectares, of which around 650 hectares are used for coffee cultivation.
