Establishment

Palthope Farm, established in 1935, is located in Coorg, Karnataka, surrounded by the Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary and specialises in shade-grown canephoras. The main varieties produced are Old Paradenia and CXR, which are processed dry (natural) or wet.

Current

Besides, Deepak Chengappa produces small amounts of S 795 with fine berry tones and sweet-fruity Liberica. The coffee plants grow in the shade of more than 93 different shade plants. Other products are pepper, arecanut, nutmeg and sapotes.
